I'm a bit behind on my weekly journal posting mainly because I will be having to re-write some of my "things" because I will be moving in the next few months and many of the things on my list pertained to living in the house I am in and the place I live.
But Since my last update I have completed two things. I got a waitressing job and I organized a neighborhood yard sale. I also add to a few of the things I have started doing and started on a few others. Including meditating!

1 week over...
So how much did I get done this week? Not too much. I've 'donated' 11,000 grains of rice through Rice.com.
I started re-reading The Hobbit. I mailed one postcard to a friend. I will buy my weekly lottery ticket when I go out today.
I need to step things up a bit. But I am making some plans to do quite a few fun things on my list when a very good friend of mine comes to visit for a week.

nina's 101 things to do in 1001 days
The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (i.e. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (i.e. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
